Pair of Worcester ivory ground porcelain vases with Pate sur Pate panel decoration. Exhibiting typical Aesthetic Movement motifs of cranes and wildlife, these pillow shaped vases sit atop cut-out feet with gilded decoration. The Pate sur Pate panels are deep blue with lovely contrasting white paste, applied handles with matte brown enamels. The reverse side is decorated with insects and butterflies. Unsigned by the artist, they are lovely examples of Worcester Pate sur Pate. Ca. 1880, 8" high, 7" diameter
